Fixed Wing UAV:

This is the most common type of drone, with an airfoil similar to that of a traditional airplane. Fixed Wing UAVs are usually able to fly in the air for a long time, and can carry a large number of sensors and cameras for various tasks, such as monitoring, mapping, search and rescue, etc.

Rotor UAV: 

The drones typically take off and land vertically, and their airfoils are similar to the rotors of a helicopter. Rotor UAVs are generally more maneuverable than fixed-wing UAVs and are able to perform missions in tight spaces, such as urban search and rescue, but their flight times are usually shorter than fixed-wing UAVs.

Multi rotor UAV: 

This UAV usually consists of multiple rotors, which can be three-rotor or four-rotor. Their airfoils, which combine multiple rotors, are generally more stable than single-rotor drones and enable them to hover in tight spaces.

Glider Drone: 

This drone has an airfoil similar to a glider. They are usually able to glide through the air for long periods of time, but cannot carry as many sensors and cameras as fixed-wing drones.

Hybrid airfoil UAV: 

This type of UAV is usually a combination of multiple airfoils to achieve better flight performance. For example, fixed-wing UAVs can be combined with rotary-wing UAVs to achieve vertical take-off and landing and long-duration flight functions.
